Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of desires. The mother of her children was a film buff and was able to instill an interest in films in the girl. Paula took part in the co-curricular classes at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. She played with her classmates and was a part of the school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actor decided that acting was her preferred career. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. The program awarded her a 3-month contract creating documentaries for PBS. When she was successful in completing the task, she began working as a production assistant for TV documentaries. Then she moved on to producing documentaries. Even though she loved the work she was doing, she yearned for acting roles. in the film romantic comedy Hitch she played a small part alongside Will Smith. Since then, she has been in many films and TV shows.
