She also played a Mermaid on Flight of the Conchords as an actor in the film of her own The Rift.

Anne Marie Tiernon was hired by WMBD 31 Peoria Illinois as a journalist in 1989. Then in 1991 she headed to Indianapolis where she began anchoring WISH's newscast at 11PM as well as anchoring the CBS affiliate's newscast at 5:30PM with colleague Scott Swan.
