Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on the 16th of April 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English ancestry. Taylor-Joy has five siblings four from her father's prior marriage. The family was initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to study English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend following her departure from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. At the age of 16 she left school and pursued a career as an actress full time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. She was given a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her an opportunity as a model.

Anne Marie Tiernon was hired by WMBD 31 Peoria Illinois as a journalist in 1989. Then in 1991 she headed to Indianapolis where she began anchoring WISH's newscast at 11PM as well as anchoring the CBS affiliate's newscast at 5:30PM with colleague Scott Swan. Tiernon worked as newscaster at WLWT-TV, Cincinnati Ohio from 2000 to 2004. She was also the co-anchor of the 5:30 and 11:00 p.m. broadcasts with experienced newscaster Dave Wagner.
